Grandma is sick

Grandmas was hospitalised over the weekend, she had breathing difficulity and was sent to hospital. Doctor said she had irregular heart beat and her blood is thick which mean she has very high risk of getting stroke. My poor grandma has to swallow more than 6 types of pills each day, it pains me to see how lost she look sometime.

I am a lover of Christmas but somehow, this year I am not particularly excited or joyous over the festive. I enjoyed the gift searching and buying process and as usual planning for some parties, still something is missing and I don't know what is that?

My photo printer is spoiled.

Very angry, was printing some photos half way and I spoiled my printer. I tried to stop the printing, don't know why and now my printer is down. So angry with myself, what I am doing? Argh. Looks like my plan to buy a Sony Photo printer has to bring forward, this is really not my intention.

All I want for Christmas is Sony Photo printer, Sony C 905 phone, latest Sony Camera, Portable DVD player, a New coffee Machine (mine is working well but I find out that there are easier and better machine in the market)....hehehehe

Uncondition Grandma Love

Had a conversation with my colleague and we talked fondly about our Grandmothers. My colleague granny had passed on and she was sharing with me how she wished she could have treasure her granny more when she was around.

I know this is the exect fear that I will have if my beloved grandma leave me. I am scared to have the regret one day. I know I must do better to spend more time with my grandma, she is getting so old and weak these days. If not because of Parkinson Disease, Grandma would never want to reply on anyone if she can, she told me we are unable to understand the pain, the helplessness that she is facing and this really break my heart. Like myself, I hope all my cousins and brother will not have the regret, so please, be nice and patience to Grandma while we still can. She can't be with us forever, love her before all is too late.

There is no love like Grandma's, there is no replacement.

Getting ready for Christmas!!!

We are in the final month of 2008 and Christmas is just round the corner. Had Christmas parties planned and now looking for the perfect or closed to perfect gifts for my loved one. This is what I love about Christmas.

2008 have been a very eventful year for myself, my friends and family. Alot had happened, there are losts and grieved, there are gained and joy, there are up and down. Now is a good time to do a checklist of 2008, rememeber our loved one, count our blessing, learned our lessons and treasure all that we have.

We can't predict what 2009 have for us but we know with the love from our family and friends, we can overcome all.

Vainity at work

Fair or pale is my skin tone, have been trying hard to change that. With indoor tanning, I am seeing result and at least 2-3 tone darker than my usual self. Loving every part of it so far. I am also addicted to eyelash extension, can't leave home without it. NOW, I have a new extension, my hair. Shopped at Bugis Village with my CRAZY buddy and we ended up with new hair (removable and reusable).

This will be my occassion look...hehehe

Golf fever continue...

Watched Barclay Open live at Sentosa last Sunday. Gotten tickets from Louis's friend very last min. I was there for Adam Scott but he was out on the first day, so disappointing. With no motivation, I could barely survived 5 holes and the Sun is killing me.

Thanks goodness all is not lost when we decided to ditch Phil Mickelson for Jeev M Singh and Harrington. At least the game was exciting and good to watch. If you do not understand what I am talking about, that perfectly fine.

Golf Nut

I know I am in serious problem when I stay home over the weekend to watch the Golf channel and I can remembered and identified the name of the various golfers.

But I can't help it, the Professional Golfers are really cute. They are not the old and grumpy looking men of the past. If you are free, try to google these name and you will know why. Henrik Stenson, Adam Scott, Oliver Wilson and Sergio Gacia.

CD for the Deaf???

We were having dinner and we talked about Bible. Vanessa asked if there is difference in the Christian and Catholic Bible? Me and Amela were unable to answer the question. Then she asked if there is Bible in CD form? I replied fast and loud, 'Of cause! There is CD for the deaf.' After hearing my reply, Both of them have a very puzzled look. For a moment, I thought 'how come my friends so stupid.' Then Vanessa said, 'isn't CD should be for the Blind? Deaf can't hear what?' .......=_=

I love Christmas!!!

It is round the corner, Christmas is coming. I can feel the mood and hear the Christmas songs. Was at the Starbuck at United Square and the cafe is filled with Christmas mood, love the setting and the atomsphere. Can't wait for the Christmas parties.

Sun-tanning

We usuaally do sun-tanning only during our Bintan holiday, not too comforfy in wearing Bikini in our home land. But to maintain the TAN that we have achieved in Bintan, we reckon we have to Tan more than just once or twice a year, so our mission to stay Tan and healthy looking started yesterday.

Sentosa had changed alot since the last time I went to the beach, i guess easily more than 6-7 years. The sands is cleaner and the environment is nicer and I like the beach cafes. We are going back for their American Breakfast very soon.

Grandma 78th Birthday

Time flies, remembered we were just celebrating grandma birthday at Sakura same time last year, this year we had our dinner at this Teo Chew Restuarant at Bukit Batok. Foods were pretty disappointing, but we had a good time.

Managed to have a family photo taken, not full attendance, hopefully next year we will have better attendance.

My brother....

We used to be closed and had breakfast together every saturaday morning before we got married and moved out to our own home. These days, I hardly get to meet my brother and let alone chatting. I do visit my niece once in awhile but never get to meet him. Ever since he got married, we distance alot and now with his own family, we distance further.

I felt kind of sad that my brother is hardly the same brother that I know. He is no longer caring towards me and maybe my mum. He hardly visit my grandma, and he is not showing much concern towards the rest of our family. What happened? Is work really that busy that it take up all of his time? Is the rest of us not worth even a bit of his attention?

Bimbo moment 1

Big boobs suggested that I records down my bimbo moment and I thought since when was I bimbo??? Hahaha..

Anyway, my colleague called me yesterday to ask for a business partner contact no. My instant reply was, huh?? she is not in (S), how come she called you??. My colleague was a bit lost and replied that he just got her call and the number looks like a local number. I said, cannot be, she is definitely in New York, My colleague asked me to drop her a message, then I suddenly remember that he is referring to another person of the same name at the same company. Damn it.

Actually, not vey bimbo right? This happened to everyone right? right??

Daily Dinner

On day when Louis is not working, we will usually make it a point to have dinner together. Last night was another night and as usual, I could not make up my mind where to eat. We ended up at Ah Orh, this teo Chiew void deck resturant along Bt Merah Road. We were there once during CNY and we said we wanted to try their steam fish which seem very popular and good. We ordered that plus a vegetable and osyter eggs. We were gusessing how much will our dinner cost and Louis said not more than $50 which I thought is already quite EX.

So, how much would you pay for such simple fare??? When we asked for the bill, the fish costs $48 and the total bill is $77.. No doubt that the fish is fresh and nice but $48 is really beyond my threshold, I told Louis, I am not going back there again.
