God's perfect timing

I am a back-slided Christian and that's mean that I have not been going to church, reading the bible and praying, except for the 'critical moment'.

However, I know God is good and his timing is perfect in all things. I have seen his timing and I am in awe.

With my classes, I have seen many students from very different background, educational level, personality and experience. But the amazing thing is, somehow, these students with the same experiences group themselve together in the same class (of cos they do not know each other prior to the class). To me, it is God arrangement for them to know each other to share their problems, blessing, experience for them to encourage and help each other. I am glad that I am able to be the channel for these individual to come and grow together.

Thank God for your blessing!!!!

Quarrelsome

Are you quarrelsome? What do you think are the quality to start a quarrel? I am referring to starting a quarrel with your partner. Interestingly, i have friends who have never quarrel with their partners before, I am not talking about couple who just got together and still in their super duber sweet and honeymoon period, I am talking about couple who have even gotten married. How can that be right?

Me and big boobs reckon that to start a quarrel or maintain one, you must have the bitchy quality. It's true, to be able to quarrel, you must be unreasonable, quick to accuse and have a loud voice. I am all the above, am sure Louis will agree with all his hands and legs up. Hahaha..

Eg:
During an arguement:
K: Why are you so quiet??
L: Nothing
K: What nothing? What do you mean nothing??
L: *sigh*...
K: why did you sigh? What's there to sigh?? tell me...
L: *trying to say something..*
K: Stop it, whatever you want to say are excuses...
L: =_=
Hahahaha....

It may sound funny but quarrel will also enhanced and improved the relationship, at least we spend quality time together and get to know each other better. (You can't go anywhere if two of you are fighting, right? and during that process, you will say alot of things that you will not normally said, 'true feeling'). There are good and bad of all situations, really depend on how you look at it.

Fridge fills with Fruits

I love my juicer. Bought lots of fruits. Oranges, green apple, fuji apples, grapefruit, celery, strawberry, starfuit.

New addition to my kitchen

I bought my juicer today. Was templating to buy a deep flyer, juicer or blender for the past few weeks. I weight the pro and con of each item and finally narrow down to juicer. It is a
Philips Juicer in anodised aluminium with unique micro-mesh filter, 650W motor, XL feeding tube, 2L pulp container, and stylish 1.5L juice jug. In another word, we will be having fresh juices everyday, provided that I get fresh fruits and not feeling lazy.

The wonder of Hub Station and tempting 52" LCD TV

Have you ever hate yourself for missing the final episode of the TV drama? Have you ever turn down outing because you want to catch certain show on TV? I do and I am a self declared TV addict. I love watching TV and my eyes will be glued to the TV the moment I reach home. Due to my packed schedule, I missed lots of show but fear no more, I have Hub Station. I can record show and able to set the recording shedule way in advance, and the best thing about watching recorded show is, I can fast forward and skip all the commercial. Hub Station is good.

Today, my business partner tempt me with his new 52" LCD TV. The TV is really huge, clear and shiok. It is like mini 'cinema' coming alive in your living room. I am very tempted and he had offer me a very tempting pricing as well. Stocks will be in in May. Got a few more weeks to consider. We are actually planning to change our sofa to something more comfortable. So, TV or Sofa?

Some old entries..

I actually started blogging 3 years back and when I read thru the entries, I found myself negatives and very negatives then. All my entries were complaints about my life, my work and my relationship. I was shocked, I always thought that I am pretty much a postive and happy person, what happened?

Probably as what the wise had said, as we grow older we grow wiser and we look things from different prospective. I have learn to let go, learn to have and respect personal space, learn to be contented, learn to be love myself and all this help to make me happier.

With our limited memory space and the tentancy to be in the self denial mood, everyone should records down their feeling at every stage of their life, so that we can better appreciate our life.

My long weekend

Eve of Good Friday!!

Class usual at IMM but was really fed up and angry with the attitude of one of my student. Want to be treated like an adult? Learn to behave like one first. Want respect from others, learn to respect other. Start from being punctual for class and listen to what trainer is teaching.

Good Friday!!

Visited my aunt and uncle. Uncle not doing so well but looks postive. Had dinner with Mum, 2 aunts and family. Simple Teo Cheow dishes that costs $188 for 7 pax. Bringing grandma to this resturant next Sunday...surprise for Grandma.

Saturday!!

Breakfast with Louis and hang out at Ya kun. Met up with Big boobs, queen mother and Ash in the evening for coffee and dinner. Wanted to go for a good jog desperately, so I head towards ECP after dinner. Had a good jog and feel refreshed.

Sunday!!

Had Mac breakie and class at IMM. Students complained that Nail Arts is not as easy as they thought..Hahaha, it is a skill that need time to practice and perfect it. More challenges ahead man.

Louis craved for Joo Chiat black pepper crab for the longest time, so we decided to head for dinner as early as 4.30pm. Heng we were there early, else no crab for us again. In celebration for our effort, we order 4 crabs instead of 2...No crab for the next many months to come man.

Learning from each other

I have always said my students from the nail courses never fail to surprise me and from them I have learnt many many things.

I am teaching them a skill that might help them to find a job, earn some money or for personal improvement but hopefully what they take away from the lessons are more than just the skill but information and teaching that will benefit all of us for life.

To my young students who are facing challenges in life, do not give up, if you give up now you will never reach where you want to be. Nothing is for free, you must put in effort to achieve what you want. Life might be harsh on you, but that's not the reason or excuse to give yourself up. If you want others to love you, you must first love yourself.

I have 18 and half day leave

Just did a quick check with my admin colleague, I still have 18 and half leave for 2008. I am reputated for having negative no of leave in my company, all thanks to my wedding preparation in 2006. Frankly, that is the only year that I took advance leave but everyone remembered it till now. Seem like there is no way for me to redeem myself.

Who cares about what other think, what's important is, I have leave...YEAH.

Planning for a golf retreat to Batam in March. Probably should plan a trip to BKK, it has been two years since my last visit or should I plan another GZ trip?
