Without make-up

Not many people have the priviledge of seeing me without my make up on, simply because I am vain (and becos i might look too pale to be out of the house). I am the type that will want to put on some light make up even if I am taking the trash out of the house (which is never).

Last week, afetr I have removed my make up to get ready for my weekly jog, I was photo as if I am a movie star. Here is one of the photo.

@Award Nails is moving

This is official, we are moving!! The good news is we are moving not too far from where we currently are. Will be shifting from level 5 to level 4. Sounds easy? Don't think so, I am expecting a hell lots of packing and unpacking to be done for the next few days. We have been in this current office for coming 3 years, can you imagines the amounts of stuffs to move, I am certainly not too excited about it. I have an ideas on how to move my stuffs, instead of packing them all in boxes, I am going to 'borrow' the shopping trolley from Gaint and pack all my stuffs in and push them down to level 4. This is will make packing and unpacking alot of easier, smart right?

I will be soaking myself in my office this Friday, Satuarday and Sunday, drop by if you are free, lend your helping hands and show me what are friends for..hahaha

Family's Day

Satuarday was a mega family day for me. Started the day early to spend quality time with Louis, we went to Delfirance for their weekend buffet breakfast. Verdict? Foods suck, not worth trying again. After breakfast, went to my MIL place, suppose to celebrate my niece Reina birthday. She is turning to a terrible 3. No photo taken becos our birthday gal said she did not want to take photo and refuse to say 'Thank you' when Louis gave her an Hong Bao. A bit too rude for my liking. Guess it is not easy to be a parents but guess what, parents must still be firm when come to dsicipline the kid, that's the role of parents, isn't it?

I went to my grandma place after Louis left for work. Grandma looks tired. Went to my aunt place with my mum and cousin, we stayed for dinner since aunt wanted to cook for us. I have never tasted her cooking for the longest time. She is so into Organic foods, jus like my mum...so we had a very healthy dinner and it was very delicious. Well done, Irene.

What i am into these days??

I am very into healthy porridge these days, I will rush home after work or class to cook my all-in-one pot porridge. Ingredients are pickles, fish, carrot and egg. Simply heavenly, I can eat the same things everyday.

Starbucks coffee and more Starbucks coffee, I think i need one shot everyday....Can we have one Starbucks at IMM Building please...

Fake Eyelashes, I simply love them now, they made my eyes look bigger and more drama, it is drama mama everyday!!

Not feeling the best..

Am i going thru some crisis? I hate what I am feeling right now and the feeling is not going away. Damn.

My new toy is not working well

I won a PSP last Christmas but then I found that Nintendo DS games are more fun and a lot more idiot proved. So, after much consideration and pestering, Louis got me a new Nintendo DS. I love my new toy, his colleague also help to upload lots of games for me. While I was really hooked to the game, my DS gave me problem. This is the second time that I am unable to load the game, it gave a blank screen..What the XXXX right?

But I must said, other than the idiot proved games, DS is no way near PSP.

Aunty fight

I never learn, lesson one 1, never fight or quarrel with aunty, never win. Suppose to have Basic Manicure and Pedicure class at XXX CC today but as claimed by the staff (aunty) in charge that it is Nail Arts class instead. She claimed that she is not good at nails information and I should have clarified with her since day 1.

What puzzles me was, I have already clarified with her when she organised the class, she is the one that got confused, NOT ME. I am damn clear about what I am teaching. She raised her voice and threaten to cancel the class, I am only more than happy to hear that. However, as a responsible and professional trainer, I told her, forget about what she had told the students, I will find out for myself later. But she said, then I will make her look bad, students will think that she is ignorant which is the TRUTH what. What the XXXX right? ..X_x..So I will be teaching Nail Arts later..Thanks goodness that I am flexible.

Relaxing Sat...

It has been quite a long while since I am able to enjoy a lazy weekend. There are too many events, activities and stuffs happened for the last few weeks. Beside, Louis work just make it tougher for us to make plan.

Anyway, we planned to wake up early to go for morning exercise at the new Henderson Wave near our place and then proceed to good relaxing breakfast then shopping, Gucci is having Sale. Well, planning is good but we do prepare for hipcup. First, it was raining heavily in the morning, so we decided not to challenge the weather and we slept in. But we make it for the late breakfast, thank God for Coffee bean and Tea Leave who serve Breakfast-All-Day. We had our breakfast at 2pm. Went to Gucci but nothing too impressive, luckily. So I decided to wait patiently for my new LV bag, fresh from Paris, 19th June will be the day we meet.

I was aggressive, I wanted to visit my mum and grandma in the evening after Louis left for his work but my body is not too cooperative and my cramp just make it worst, ended up I fell asleep on our sofa and only woke up not too long ago. I guess, I needed my rest to prepare for the long week ahead. Will be having classes on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. Damn, feeling tired already.

Just a thought

How loosely do we use words like ' closest' and 'dearest'? How do we classified someone as our dearest or closest unlce, aunty, friend, dog or whatever? Isn't someone whom are called dearest should be someone we spent quality time with? Someone whom there for each other in time of need? Just a thought...

Jolly good time

Getting old, my body is still suffering from my weekend party at St James. Last Saturday was my buddy hen's nite, there is no way that I will not go all the way out for her. She is more than a friend to me. She is my business partner, travel mate, shopping kaki, party queen and match maker. We went thru so much together that I am truly glad that I have her.

The Hen's nite was damn happening and fun, all thanks to our very sporting bride to be, her big bunch of happening cousins and us, her dearest friends. We have a great time drinking, laughing and dancing. It has been such a long time since I got so high.

I sincerely and truly wish you happiness for the many years to come. Remember, no matter what happened, you are loved by many.

Rest in Peace.

My fear came true, my uncle passed away on 16th May 2008 around 6.30am while I was in Bangkok.

He finally give up the year long battled with cancer and left behind his wife and two daughters. This is a tough time for the family but I know they will be survived. Especially my very sensible cousins who have been very strong and mature when they faced the departure of their beloved dad.

Uncle, rest in peace. We will take care of our aunt and cousins.

Uncle not doing well

After 1 long year of battle with the 'cancer', uncle condition is turning for the worst. All the money spent and lifted hope are smashed. Saw him at the hospital, all our heart ached. Doctor told my aunt that nothing much can be done and prepared for the worst. Please pray for the family.

Recording completed

I agreed to the recording and all preparation starts on Monday. I have to prepare the materials to use for the show and apply leave for the recording. All was good except for a small incident.

Louis was very supportive and he help to pack the house to make it look neat and tidy, he even change the bedsheet and the sofa cover, so sweet right.

The nerves cracking moment came when they arrived at our door step, very nervous althought they were all friendly and nice. The producer, crews and the artists were quick to make themselves feel at home, they set up the equipement speedily and all were set to go within 10 min. During the first screen where I suppose to apply the Apple Cider and Tea Tree oil on Quan Yifong pimple, I can see my hand shiver and she was nice to tell me that it happened to her as well.

All was good and fun, the recording lasted for 1 and half hour. It was really a fun and good experience, glad that i agreed to it.

The show will be air on 22nd May 2008 (thur) at 8.00pm on channel 8. Remember to watch ok.

Channel 8 - King of Thrift 2

Got a call today from this lady, she asked if I am interested to be one of the 'Da ren' (Guest) for 'King of Thrift 2'? http://8.mediacorptv.sg/programmesdetail.aspx?iid=MDC080331-0000058&kw=VARIETY. She said it will be a episode to recommend cost saving tip for Beauty and DIY nail arts is one of item. I told her I am not confidential if I can do it, not sure what to say as well. She assured me that the host, Quan Yi Feng and Ben Yeo will lead me...But i am still worried, will I look fat on TV??? Will I look stupid??? Hehehe

Still thinking if I should do it. Hopefully if I do this show, it will bring some awareness to @award nails supply and more students for the course.

If everything is confirmed, the shoot will be this Wed afternoon at my place. Alot of things to prepare, not for the nail arts but mainly to clean up my place before they come and what should i wear so that i will appear slimmer on TV, should I wear my fake eyes lashes ah?? See, alot of things to worry and consider leh..:P
